Skye Kimura began working as an independent Māori cultural consultant over seven years ago. Skye works with organisations advocating for and providing a voice for Māori. She was CEO of Tātou, a Māori cultural consultancy and agency that brought the needs of Māori to the table for government and non-government organisations, ensuring understanding of Māori culture and tikanga.
As a partner of Anthem, under her consultancy Whetūmaiangi, Skye’s work is kaupapa driven, and she collaborates with organisations to directly or indirectly, positively impact the lives of Māori. She creates safe environment for non-Māori to engage, learn and understand. Skye has created a network Māori across Aotearoa bringing to bear their knowledge as appropriate, to organisations’ kaupapa.
